The City of Covington offers $ for businesses and waives permit fees 

Qualifying businesses can apply for up to $500 a month to help pay rent or mortgages under a new, temporary program the City of Covington has created to protect jobs during the coronavirus pandemic. Details here. 

The City is also  temporarily waiving permit fees - but not application requirements - commonly associated with development, construction, and renovation projects to help protect jobs during the coronavirus pandemic. Details here. 

Supplies needed for our first responders and health care workers

Covingon Fire and Police Department needs Masks(N-95 and surgical masks) Disposable Gloves, Hand sanitizer, Disinfecting wipes, and Other Disinfecting products.  Donations are tax deductible and the Fund for Covington will provide a receipt.  Please contact Suzann Gettys at sgettys@covingtonky.gov for donations or questions. 

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is still accepting N95 Masks (and other medical supplies) at the Edgewood Loading Dock, the updated hours are now Monday thru Friday, 11:30am to 3pm.

AT&T Offers Added Relief for Customers

Consistent with FCC Chairman Pai’s “Keep Americans Connected Pledge”, AT&T is proud to support customers by pledging that, for the next 60 days, it will: Not terminate service and waive late payment fees on any wireless, home phone or broadband residential or small business customer, and keep public wifi hotspots open.  Details here. 

Commonwealth of Kentucky

The Governor said unemployment eligibility has been expanded effective immediately due to COVID-19. Some individuals typically not covered by unemployment insurance, can now file. To file a claim, visit kcc.ky.gov.
