This is an important time in Northern Kentucky and Covington’s future with several pivotal roles being filled. Nancy Grayson and Karen Finan have recently taken the reins of the newly formed Horizon Fund of Northern Kentucky and the Northern Kentucky Regional Alliance, respectively.
Join us for the September 21st CBC fall kickoff luncheon as Covington business owner and Chamber President & CEO Brent Cooper discusses how the CBC and these other groups can work cooperatively to better the region. Brent will talk about new Chamber initiatives to look for and share the impact of state and regional issues on Northern Kentucky’s largest City.
The mission of CBC Connects is to help in the development of relationships with the other members of the CBC and to better understand who they are and what they do. Ultimately, it will allow us to better connect the people we know to people in need.
The group meets every Wednesday, 8:30 AM – 9:30AM at Gateway Community and Technical College Center for Technology, Innovation and Enterprise located at 516 Madison Ave. Each meeting includes an exercise helping you to develop business skills.
Any and all CBC members are welcome.
Guests will be welcome for 2 meetings to decide if they care to join the CBC.
Come if and when it fits your schedule – attendance is encouraged but not required.
Meeting preparation: 30 second commercial about who you are and what you do; a referral request.

Covington has been busy expanding its business base by using incentives and local amenities to attract companies from both inside and outside the region. One example is pharmaceutical and biotechnology company CTI, which recently relocated its headquarters from Blue Ash to Covington.
Joining us to discuss new businesses coming to Covington are CTI Chief Executive Officer Timothy Schroeder; Patrick Henshaw, Cintrifuse Director of Development for Kenton County; and Covington Business Council Executive Director, Pat Frew.
