Thomas More University is the Catholic University of the Diocese of Covington. TMU is consistently ranked by U.S. News and World Report as one of the best regional universities in the South, plus the University has been ranked #1 for return on investment in Kentucky four years in a row by Founded in 1921 by the Benedictine Sisters as Villa Madonna College, Thomas More now serves more than 2,000 students from across the country and around the world on its beautiful Crestview Hills, Kentucky campus, located just minutes from downtown Cincinnati.

In 2018, TMU opened a new residence hall on its campus, a new STEM Outreach Center at its Biology Field Station on the Ohio River, and it further expanded its campus footprint with the Center for Health Sciences (in partnership with St. Elizabeth Healthcare) and a Performing Arts Laboratory both located within walking distance of the campus core. TMU is also home to nationally recognized programs such as the William T. Robinson III Institute for Religious Liberty, the Institute for Higher Education Compliance, and the Institute for Ethical Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies.
